Aulie is a private buying session. This policy is about what that word actually means — what information we collect, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.
When you submit a session, we collect:
— Your email address (so we can send you the receipt and the check-in).
— The text of your ask (so Aulie can make the decision).
— Your payment details, handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
We also collect basic technical information — IP address, browser type, request timestamps — that any web service collects to operate reliably.
We use your ask text to generate your session. We use your email to send you the receipt and the one-time check-in. We use Stripe's payment data to process your payment. We use the technical information to run the service, debug errors, and defend against abuse.
That's it. That's all we do with it.
We don't run ads. We don't have ad partners. We don't sell your email. We don't sell your ask. We don't build a profile of you across sessions to sell to anyone. We don't share your session details with the brands whose products get recommended.
We don't retarget you. If you leave the site, we don't follow you around the internet.
To run Askaulie, we rely on a small set of service providers. Each has its own privacy policy:
— Stripe (payments)
— Supabase (database hosting)
— Cloudflare (site hosting and request routing)
— Resend (email delivery)
— Anthropic (the AI model Aulie uses to think)
Your ask text is sent to Anthropic's API to produce the recommendation. Anthropic handles that request under their enterprise terms, which prohibit training on customer inputs.
Once you click "Buy from merchant" on a pick, you are on that merchant's site. What they do with tracking, cookies, and your data on their site is governed by their policy, not ours. We don't get any information back from that click.
Aulie does not currently take payment from brands or affiliate programs. If we begin to, it will be disclosed clearly on the landing page and in the session. It will not change which products Aulie picks — that would break the entire premise of the service.
Your session — the ask, the classification, and the recommendation — is retained for as long as we operate, so that you can return to the link and see it again. If you want your session deleted, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
We don't use tracking cookies. Your browser may store a small amount of session data while you are using the site (standard web operation), but we do not set advertising or analytics cookies.
